This week's Featured Love Everywhere Ambassador is the lovely and talented Tiffany from Huntington Beach, California! It's such an honor to have her on our team; her heart shines through every encouragement card she writes! You'll see exactly what I mean in her sweet responses to these fun questions below!
And when you're done reading about Tiffany, head on over to our Ambassador Application and apply to join her on our team! Applications are open until 6/15/16!
What is your favorite thing about living in your city/what do you do there (hobby/job/or just something you love doing in your town)?
What I love about Huntington is that there is ALWAYS something to do. My personal favorite is to ride my bike down to the beach and cruise along the boardwalk; maybe play some volleyball while I’m down there.
What book are you currently reading or one you recommend to anyone?
I’m currently reading the book “Love Does” by Bob Goff. It’s one of those books that will change your life. It makes you want to go out and change the world, to be a better person, and to love deeper than you’ve ever loved before. Seriously, if you haven’t read it, you need to do so ASAP.
If there was a movie produced about your life, who would play you and why?
I would absolutely love for someone like Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock to play me. I love both of these actresses. I think they are strong, independent, beautiful women, both inside and out. They’re quirky and funny and I like that they’re not afraid to be themselves and say what they feel.
What is the funniest thing that has happened to you recently?
Okay, so in our kitchen we have this cupboard. Below is a large door where we keep most of our food. Up above is a smaller door. (side note: I’m 6’2” and rarely ever clear anything, including this small cupboard door up above.) So I’m in the kitchen, making dinner and as I walk out of the kitchen into the dining room I don’t see that this cupboard door up above is open. I walk straight into it, hitting my head and sending my food flying. It was literally like a scene out of Home Alone. I lost my dinner and ended up having a massive headache for the better part of that night.
What is your favorite quote?
This one is difficult because I’m literally a logophile and am obsessed with quotes. There’s just something about a set of words strung together that’s solid truth and can immediately resonate with your soul, making your heart skip a beat. If I had to choose one though, I’d have to pick, “The best is yet to come.” This has sort of become my mantra over the past 2 years. There’s just so much hope packed into this little nugget.
Why did you want to be an LE Ambassador?
Becoming an LE Ambassador was completely a God thing. I came across their Instagram account randomly about 2 years ago. I began following because I loved the encouraging message and was fascinated with the way they spread love anonymously through hand written cards. I saw they were taking applications, but put it off for over two weeks, thinking “I never win anything, they probably won’t choose me anyways.”
The night before applications were due I remember laying in bed, scrolling through Instagram trying to fall asleep and I came across a post from shareloveverywhere. I somehow found myself filling out the application in the dark as my roommates snored on across the room. With two minutes left to spare I submitted my application and a few days later I was notified that I had been chosen. I don’t even remember what I had written, but I’m so thankful that Jesus prompted me to finally apply.
Being an ambassador has been such an amazing opportunity. I love the fact that I am able to be apart of a movement where I can use my words and the words of others that have gone before me to speak life and truth into situations, even random strangers that I don’t even know. I am so encouraged by the community that Ashley has created and am blessed to be apart of shareloveeverywhere.
